1. Overview

Bonsai Papers ("we", "us", "our") operates this online store at bonsai-papers.myshopify.com. By visiting and purchasing from this site, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content.

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

2. Products & Pricing

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time without notice. If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm or offer cancellation.

3. Orders & Payment

By placing an order, you confirm that you are the authorised holder of the payment method used. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including where we suspect fraudulent activity.

Payment is processed securely at the time of purchase. We accept all major credit cards and available Shopify payment methods.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship within New Zealand only. Standard shipping is free across North New Zealand, with a flat $3 shipping charge for South New Zealand. Estimated delivery times are 2–5 business days after dispatch, depending on your location.

Bonsai Papers is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control. Once an order is handed to our shipping partner, delivery responsibility passes to them.

5. Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your Bonsai Papers experience. If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at Hello@Bonsaipapers.com.

• Unopened, undamaged products may be returned for a full refund within 14 days.
• If your order arrives damaged, we will arrange a full replacement at no cost. Please provide photographic evidence within 7 days of delivery.
• We are unable to accept returns on opened products for hygiene reasons, unless the product is found to be faulty.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except where the return is due to our error or a faulty product.

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item and will be issued to the original payment method.

6. Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ)

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand legislation. Where you are acquiring goods for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, photography, design, branding, and copy — is the exclusive property of Bonsai Papers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

8. Privacy

Your use of this site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. We handle all personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bonsai Papers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant order.
